Sausage Chili

1 lb. Hot or Mild Dean's Sausage
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 Medium Onion Chopped
1 Medium Green Pepper Chopped
1 Clove Garlic, Minced
1 can (28 oz.) Whole Tomatoes Chopped (including juice)
2 cans (16 oz. ea.) Red Kidney Beans (drained)
1 tbsp. Chili Powder
2 tsp. Ground Cumin
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 cup Water or a Can of Beer
1. Cook sausage, ground beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic in Dutch oven until sausage is browned and vegetables tender; drain.
2. Stir in tomatoes, beans, seasonings, and liquid. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Serves 10.
